Every tailor in Bangkok will tell you they can do it fast. Here is what fast means, per garment, so you can plan a trip around it rather than hope.
Shirts: 24–48 hours, sometimes same day. The quickest real garment we make.
Trousers: same day to next day for a single pair.
Alterations: most are same-day, often while you shop in the mall.
A two-piece suit: 3–5 days is the honest window for a suit that will still fit properly in a year. It covers cutting, a fitting on the body, corrections and finishing.
A three-piece, dinner suit or wedding party: start on arrival. More garments, more fittings, more people to coordinate.
What express should never mean
Speed in this city has a mixed reputation, and it is partly earned. The corners cut on a genuinely rushed suit are always the same ones: fused construction instead of canvas, no real fitting, seam allowance trimmed away so the garment can never be altered later, and glue where stitching belongs.
A suit made in eight hours can look excellent in the shop mirror and hang badly within a month. We would rather tell you a garment cannot be done well in your window than take the order and disappoint you three weeks later in London or Sydney.
If your timeline genuinely does not fit, the usual answer is shirts now and a suit on your next visit — your pattern stays on file, so the second order can be placed from home and shipped.
How to get the most out of a short trip
Message before you arrive
Tell us your dates and what you want. We can have appropriate cloth pulled and waiting, which saves an hour on day one.
Come on your first or second day, not your last
G>, not your last. Everything downstream gets calmer, and the difference is usually one fitting versus two.
Bring a garment that fits you well
— a jacket or shirt you like. It communicates more than any measurement.
Decide the occasion before the cloth
A suit is a hard brief; a suit for a wedding in Chiang Mai and meetings back home answers half the questions instantly.

Why being inside the mall helps
Platinum Fashion Mall is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily and we are on the 4th floor. In practice that means an alteration can be dropped off, you can eat and shop for two hours, and collect on the way out — which is a genuinely different proposition from a standalone shop with a two-day queue.
It also means evening appointments are normal. Plenty of clients are measured after a full day of meetings and lose no time to it at all.
If your flight moves
It happens. Tell us immediately rather than at the end. Depending on the stage, we can usually either accelerate the finishing or complete the garment afterwards and ship it to you.
Your measurements and pattern stay on file either way, so a later adjustment or a re-order is straightforward.

Can a suit really be made in one day?
For some garments and some cloths, yes — but it depends on the style, the fabric, and how busy the workroom is that day, so we will only confirm it once we know your dates. Express work is real at G.Armani Suit, and it is also the area where the industry over-promises most. A simple two-piece in a stocked cloth is a different proposition from a three-piece in a special-order fabric. Ask with your actual dates and we will answer honestly, including when the answer is no — we would rather lose the order than hand you a garment we would not put our name on.
What is a realistic timeline for a short Bangkok trip?
Come on your first day rather than your last, and 3–5 days is comfortable for a suit with 2–3 fittings. The constraint is almost never the sewing — it is leaving enough hours between fittings for corrections to be made and checked. Shirts are the most compressible garment; a fully canvassed three-piece is the least. If you only have 48 hours, say so at the start and we will tell you which garments fit that window. Choosing cloth already in the shop rather than ordering something in usually saves a full day on its own.
What should express tailoring never mean?
Express should never mean skipping the fitting, and it should never mean a fused jacket sold to you as a canvassed one. Speed comes from workroom scheduling and from starting with cloth already in stock — not from removing the steps that make the garment fit. If a tailor offers you a suit with no fitting at all, you are buying an off-the-peg garment with your measurements written on the ticket. That is a legitimate product, but it should be priced and described as one.
How do I get the most out of a short trip?
You should arrive with three things: your dates, the shoes you will wear, and a clear idea of the occasion. Those three remove most of the back-and-forth from the first appointment and buy you an extra fitting later. Choosing from cloth already in the shop rather than ordering something in also saves a full day. Booking ahead helps more on a compressed schedule than at any other time, because an evening slot on day one is worth more than any other hour of your trip.
Does being inside Platinum Fashion Mall make express work faster?
It genuinely helps, because the workroom and the cloth are in the same building as the fitting room. When a correction is needed there is no transport step between the fitting and the bench, which is where a day usually disappears in this trade. Our shop is on the 4th floor of Platinum Fashion Mall in Pratunam, open 10:00–20:00 daily. Being able to walk back in at 7pm on the same day is a practical advantage rather than a marketing one, and it is the main reason a compressed schedule works here at all.
What happens if my flight changes?
Tell us as soon as you know and we will re-plan the fittings around the new date. A flight moving earlier is the harder case, and it is much easier to solve on day two than on the morning of departure. If the garment genuinely cannot be finished to standard in the time left, we would rather say so and arrange to ship it than hand you something we would not put our name on.
