A quarter-century of cut and cloth.
Bespoke tailoring in the heart of Bangkok's fashion district — cut, cloth and fit measured and finished by hand since 1999.
G.Armani Suit is an independent bespoke tailoring shop based in Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand, established in 1999 and now cutting at The Platinum Fashion Mall. The shop specialises in made-to-measure and bespoke two-piece and three-piece suits, wedding and black-tie attire, business suits, tailored shirts, and alterations, for men visiting or living in Bangkok. Garments are cut on site by master tailor Mr. Santosh and finished over two to three fittings, typically in three to five days, with suits from ฿7,500 and shirts from ฿1,500. G.Armani Suit operates from The Platinum Fashion Mall, Zone 1&2, Camden 6, Shop No. 936, 4th Floor, 222 Phetchaburi Rd, Thanon Phetchaburi, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, near BTS Ratchathewi and the Airport Rail Link at Ratchaprarop, open 10:00 to 20:00 daily. The business can be reached on +66 81 695 8346 and at hello@garmanisuit.com, and holds a 5.0 star rating from 277 Google reviews. G.Armani Suit is not affiliated with Giorgio Armani S.p.A.
G.Armani Suit has dressed Bangkok from the 4th floor of Platinum Fashion Mall since 1999. What began as a single tailoring bench in Pratunam is now a small atelier trusted by local professionals, expat residents, grooms and travelers from across the world.
Who we are
What we believe
A suit should disappear on you. No pulling at the shoulder, no gaping collar, no compromise from a rack. We measure carefully, cut for your body, and shape the canvas over two to three fittings until the garment simply fits — and keeps fitting, order after order.
The tailor behind the bench
Most of our reviews mention one name: Mr. Santosh, our master tailor. He measures, advises on cloth and lapel, and sees every suit through its fittings — the reason clients come back order after order, and send their friends and wedding parties too. He also writes the fabric and fitting guides in our journal.
Built for Bangkok
The tropics are unforgiving on cloth. We work in Italian wool, Thai silk, linen and breathable tropical blends — and premium mills such as Loro Piana, Zegna, Holland & Sherry and Dormeuil on request — chosen so you look sharp at 35°C, not just in the fitting room.
What the years taught us
What twenty-five years in one building teaches you
Staying in the same shop since 1999 changes how you work, and not in an abstract way. A tailor who will still be on the 4th floor next year cannot afford a suit that fails in six months — the client comes back, and they come back to you. That is a different incentive from a shop built around visitors who will never return, and it is most of what separates the tailors in this district from each other.
It also means we have watched what survives here. Bangkok is hard on tailoring in ways that do not show up in a fitting room: humidity delaminates fused jackets over a couple of years, aggressive air conditioning makes a heavy cloth feel fine indoors and unbearable on the street, and a suit worn five days a week without rest creases permanently. Those lessons are why we push canvas over fusing, tropical weights over four-season cloth, and two suits in rotation over one.
How we work with people who cannot come back
A good share of our clients are here for a few days. That shapes the process: we ask for your fly-out date before we talk about cloth, we tell you honestly what fits inside your window, and if it does not, we say so rather than take the order.
Your pattern stays on file afterwards. That is what turns one visit into a long relationship — a second suit, more shirts, or a replacement pair of trousers can be ordered from anywhere and shipped. We will ask you to confirm a couple of measurements first, because bodies change and we would rather ask than guess.
On choosing any tailor in Bangkok
Bangkok's tailoring reputation is mixed, and some of it is earned. Before committing anywhere — including here — the checks worth making are simple: a fixed address you can return to, published starting prices and a written quote before work begins, a real fitting rather than just a measuring session, reviews with depth and recent dates, and a straight answer to "is this jacket fused, half-canvassed or fully canvassed?"
Ours are, in order: 4th Floor Shop 936 since 1999; prices published; two to three fittings included; 277 reviews at 5.0, readable on Google rather than only on this page; and half or full canvas, your choice, explained at the counter. If those checks make you more careful about us too, that is the correct outcome.
Trusted by 277 reviewers
A 5.0-star rating across 277 Google reviews, from grooms whose wedding parties matched perfectly to business travelers who collected a suit before their flight. We would rather point at those than describe our own work — they are on the reviews page and on Google, where you can read them without us in the way.
Walk in from BTS Ratchathewi, and walk out in something cut only for you.
