Getting here by rail
Two stations serve us, and which one you want depends on where you start.
Airport Rail Link — Ratchaprarop. The closest station, roughly 5 minutes on foot. This is the one to use if you are coming straight from Suvarnabhumi: the ARL runs to Ratchaprarop directly, and it is a considerably faster and cheaper trip from the airport than a taxi in traffic.
BTS Ratchathewi. About a 10-minute walk. Use this if you are coming along the Sukhumvit line from Siam, Asok or further out. Siam is one stop away, so anywhere on the interchange network is a simple journey.
Both walks are at street level and straightforward. In the middle of the day the ARL route is the more comfortable of the two.
Why rail beats a taxi here
Pratunam sits in one of the most congested parts of central Bangkok, and Phetchaburi Road at 5 PM is not a road you want to be sitting on. A trip that takes 12 minutes by train can take 45 by car.
This matters for planning a fitting. If you are working a schedule around meetings, the rail journey is predictable in a way the road is not — which is why we suggest booking fitting times by train arrival rather than clock time.

Convenient for a stopover
The Airport Rail Link connection makes us practical on a layover, which is not true of most Bangkok tailors. Clients with a long stopover routinely come in from the airport, get measured, and collect on their return leg weeks later.

The exception is late evening, when the roads clear and a taxi becomes reasonable again.

This makes a fitting practical on the day you land or the morning you leave — useful if your Bangkok trip is short and you want to start the tailoring clock as early as possible. Where do I go once I arrive at the mall?
You should go to the 4th floor, Zone 1&2, and look for Shop 936. Platinum Fashion Mall is a large multi-tenant building and tailoring is spread across levels, so the floor number is worth holding onto. Escalators run through the centre of the building. Is this convenient for a stopover in Bangkok?
Yes — the Airport Rail Link connection makes us one of the more practical tailors to reach on a layover.
