How much does a custom suit cost in Bangkok?
A custom suit at G.Armani Suit in Pratunam starts from ฿7,500 for a two-piece, with most clients spending ฿15,000–30,000 once they choose a better cloth. Price is driven by three things and nothing else: the mill the fabric comes from, whether the jacket is half or full canvas, and how much hand-finishing goes into it. A three-piece starts from ฿9,900 and tailored shirts from ฿1,500. Our full price list is published on the site rather than quoted only at the counter, so you can budget before you visit, and two to three fittings are included rather than charged as extras.
How long does it take to make a suit?
Most suits take 3–5 days with 2–3 fittings, which is the schedule we plan around for visitors to Bangkok. The first fitting happens once the cloth is cut, the second refines the shoulder and waist, and a third is added if the garment needs it. Faster is sometimes possible depending on the garment and how busy the workroom is — tell us your travel dates on your first visit and we will tell you honestly what fits, rather than promising a date and missing it.
Where is G.Armani Suit located?
G.Armani Suit is at 4th Floor, Shop 936, Platinum Fashion Mall, Pratunam, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, on the 4th floor of Platinum Fashion Mall. The nearest station is BTS Ratchathewi, a short walk away, and the Airport Rail Link stops at Ratchaprarop nearby. The floor number matters — Platinum houses several tailors, and we are Shop 936 in Zone 1&2. We are open 10:00–20:00 every day, and you can call +66 81 695 8346 before you come. Rail is almost always faster than a taxi here, because the roads around Pratunam are among the slowest in Bangkok for most of the afternoon.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome at our Pratunam shop during opening hours, 10:00–20:00 daily. Booking ahead simply means the cloth you are interested in is already pulled and a tailor is free when you arrive, which matters most in the evening and at weekends. If you are working to a departure date, book — the schedule is built backwards from your flight, and an hour saved at the start is an hour available for a second fitting later. You can message us on WhatsApp before you travel and arrive to measuring rather than browsing.
What is the difference between bespoke and made-to-measure?
Made-to-measure adjusts an existing block pattern to your measurements, while bespoke drafts a new pattern from scratch for your body and refines it on you across fittings. Bespoke costs more in time and skill, and it is the only honest route to a correct fit if your shoulders slope, your posture leans forward, or one arm sits differently from the other — which describes most people. For a straightforward build with no strong asymmetries, made-to-measure gets you most of the way at a lower price.
Which fabric works best in Bangkok's heat?
Tropical-weight wool in the 200–260g range is the most reliable choice for Bangkok, because it breathes in 35°C heat and still holds a crease. Weight matters more than fibre name: a heavy "summer" cloth will beat you, and a light open weave will not. Linen is cooler still but creases and reads casual. Thai silk suits occasion wear rather than daily use. We keep tropical wool, Italian wool, linen and breathable blends in stock and will show you the difference by hand before you choose.
