Typical turnaround
Most suits are ready in 3–5 days with two to three fittings. That window lets us shape the canvas properly and correct the fit before you collect.
Same-day express
Short on time? For many styles we can compress the schedule to same-day without cutting corners on measurement or finish — ideal for business travelers and short Bangkok trips. Start early and keep the fitting focused.
Other garments, other timelines
Shirts: 24–48 hours, sometimes same day. Trousers alone: same to next day. Alterations: usually same day, often while you shop in the mall. A three-piece: add a day over a two-piece — a waistcoat is small but fussy. A wedding party: not a multiple of one suit; plan backwards from the ceremony with everyone measured in the first two days.
How long does it take to get a suit tailored?
That depends which of two jobs you mean, and the word covers both. Having a suit made to your measurements takes 3–5 days with two to three fittings. Having a suit you already own tailored — taken in, let out, shortened — is usually same day at our Pratunam shop, often while you finish shopping in the mall.
If it is the second you need, that is our suit alterations service rather than this one. It is worth saying which you mean when you message us, because the two answers are days apart.

What each stage takes
It helps to know what you are waiting for. Consultation and measuring is about an hour — twenty-odd measurements plus posture notes. Pattern drafting takes a few hours. Cutting another one or two, with seam allowance left in. Basting and first assembly is the bulk of day one. The fitting is twenty minutes and the most valuable twenty minutes in the process. Corrections and finishing take the rest.
The elapsed time is not one person working continuously — it is your garment moving through more than one pair of hands alongside other people's. That is also why telling us your fly-out date up front matters: it decides where you sit in the queue.
When you are short on time
What gets cut when a suit is rushed
You can get a suit in a day in Bangkok. Here is what is quietly removed to achieve it.
The fitting — the single most valuable step, and the first one dropped. Canvas — a floating canvas takes time to work; fused interfacing is glued in minutes, and in this humidity it eventually bubbles at the lapel. Seam allowance — trimmed away, which means the suit can never be altered later. Hand-finishing at the collar and lapel roll, which is what stops a jacket looking machine-made.
None of it is visible in the shop mirror on the day. All of it is visible a year later.
If you run out of time
Two options, neither a disaster. We can finish after you leave and ship it — your pattern is on file, so a final confirmation by message is usually enough. Or order shirts now for the quick win, get measured properly while you are here, and place the suit order remotely later.

Making a suit is hard enough that a traditional workroom splits the work between specialists: a cutter drafts and cuts the pattern, and separate coat and trouser makers build the garments. A two-piece involves the pattern, the canvas, the chest piece and the hand finishing, which is why a suit here takes three to five days and two to three fittings rather than being handed over the same afternoon. The difficulty is not the sewing. It is the cutting - cloth has to be cut for a body that is not symmetrical, and every adjustment moves something else.
How long does a custom suit take in Bangkok?
Most suits take 3–5 days with two to three fittings, which is the schedule we plan around for visitors to Bangkok. The first fitting follows cutting, the second corrects shoulder and waist, and a third is added where the garment needs it. The constraint is rarely the sewing — it is leaving enough hours between fittings for corrections to be made and checked properly.
Can a suit really be finished the same day?
For some garments and cloths, yes, but it depends on the style, the fabric and how busy the workroom is, so we confirm it against your actual dates rather than promising it in advance. A simple two-piece in stocked cloth is a different proposition from a three-piece in a special-order fabric. Come on your first day in Bangkok rather than your last, and the question usually answers itself.
What should I do if my trip is short?
You should arrive at the shop on day one with your departure date, the shoes you intend to wear, and a clear idea of the occasion. Those three things remove most of the back-and-forth and buy you an extra fitting later in the week.
