How much does a tailored suit cost in Bangkok? (2026 price guide)

What a custom suit really costs in Bangkok in 2026 — honest price bands from ฿7,500, what moves the number, and where the cheap quotes cut corners.

The short answer

A tailored suit at G.Armani Suit starts from ฿7,500. Most clients land in the ฿15,000–30,000 mid-range, and premium mills sit above that. The starting figure buys a genuinely made-to-measure 2-piece — not an off-the-rack alteration.

What moves the price

Three things decide the number: the cloth, the construction, and the number of pieces. A tropical blend costs less than Italian wool; a full-canvas build costs more than half-canvas; a 3-piece adds a waistcoat. We quote every job before we cut, so there are no surprises at collection.

Cloth tiers

House Italian wool and breathable tropical blends cover most business and everyday suits. Thai silk suits occasion wear. Premium mills — Loro Piana, Zegna, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil — are available on request for those who want the best hand.

Is it worth it versus off-the-rack?

For the same money as a good department-store suit, you get one cut to your exact measurements, in cloth chosen for the climate, with two to three fittings included. That is the Pratunam value proposition — Western bespoke quality without Western bespoke prices.

Common questions

What is the cheapest custom suit you make?

The lowest starting price is ฿7,500 for a made-to-measure two-piece in house cloth, and it is still fully cut to your measurements rather than an off-the-peg garment with your name on the ticket. A three-piece starts from ฿9,900. What separates that figure from a ฿30,000 commission is the cloth and the construction, not the care taken over the fit — two to three fittings are included at every price point in Bangkok.

Do you quote before starting work?

Always — cloth, construction and final price are confirmed before a single panel is cut. That matters more in Bangkok than in most cities, because the district is full of shops that decide the number after they have read the customer. A written quote before cutting is one of the few checks a visitor can realistically apply, and you should ask any Pratunam tailor for one, including us.

Why do Bangkok suit prices vary so much?

The spread comes from things you cannot see once the jacket is finished: whether it is fused or canvassed, how many fittings are included, and the quality of the lining. A quote far below the Bangkok market usually means a fused jacket and one fitting — a legitimate product, but a different one. Compare what is included rather than the headline number, because that is where the differences hide. G.Armani Suit publishes its price list in Pratunam for exactly that reason.
